Finalists for the 2009 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge have been announced and it's time to vote! This annual contest features Star Wars-related short digital videos created by fans and you can view and vote for videos at StarWars.Atom.com until Friday, July 10 to determine the Audience Choice Award, which will be presented at Comic-Con San Diego. This October will see the release of DK Publishing's LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary, and big plans are already in the works to launch this 96-page hardcover in style with the help of the Fighting 501st Legion. The Empire's baddest do-gooders will be dispatched to more than 60 locations around the US to promote this exquisitely photographed and minutely-annotated Visual Dictionary which comes complete with exclusive LEGO minifigure to be unveiled at San Diego Comic Con in July. Honoring the Legion's passion for charity, DK is also planning to donate books to worthy causes as thanks for 501st participation. More details on locations and event activities coming soon!
